Conferences for Math Teachers

Every August, the CEMC offers conferences for teachers that focus on curriculum, technology and enrichment. The sessions on curriculum will focus on problem solving.

Intended Audiences

The Math Teachers' Conference for grade 7 and 8 teachers benefit teachers from any province.

While the Math Teachers' conference for grades 9 to 12 are directed towards university preparation and mainly Ontario teachers, teachers from any province or country will benefit as well.

Dates and Location

The conferences will be held Tuesday, August 20 through Thursday August 22, 2013 at the University of Waterloo. Delegates may choose some sessions from either of the Grades 9 to 12 programs.

Fee

The cost to each participant is $150. This includes three meals each day, (breakfast, lunch and dinner), and a dormitory room, if required.
