Summer Institute for Computer Studies Educators

Every August, teachers attending the Summer Institute for Computer Studies Educators submit a resource to a be shared with other teachers. Registration for the 2010 Summer Institute is now closed.

Highlighted Resources

Project management has been introduced into the revised Ontario curriculum. This newly developed resource includes a topic overview, lessons and assessment materials.

This 2009 Summer Institute for Computer Studies Educators presentation examines the new Environmental Education expectations of the revised Ontario curriculum. It includes sample project ideas, implementation strategies and other supporting resources.

Programming Tips

Programming is a fundamental aspect of computer science (although there is much more to computer science than just programming!). We have gathered a collection of tips suggested and followed by expert programmers.
