P4W is for teachers and students of Grades 4-6:
The problems reflect our beliefs that non-algorithmic problems enhance the development of worthwhile skills (e.g. number sense), and that problem solving, including communicating strategies and solutions to others, should be an integral part of any program.
Each problem includes 'Curriculum Areas' touched on, notes and solutions 'For the Teacher', and handouts 'For the Student'.
A brief description of each P4W can be found in the problem archive. Individual problems can be viewed by clicking on the desired title.
New problems are added to the problem archive periodically.
